Chapter 05 — About
Momijiyado is told as a small inn in the hills of Arashiyama and Saga, but it does not exist. You cannot visit the building, the noren, or the camellia tree in the courtyard.
This is the place where we write — quietly, as a story — the inn that might have been.
The proprietress Kazama Kaede, the head chef Kazama Akira, the former proprietress Kazama Murasaki — none of them are real people. They are the people who tend this inn within the story.
All photographs here have likewise been imagined. None of them depict any real inn or real person.
